RG3 GINSENG is a potent disease fighter. The main ingredient is Ginseng which contains the active component Ginsenoside Rg3 that has anti-tumour properties, angio suppressive effects and discourages cancer activity. It is also a saponin class of chemical compounds found in plant species that help lowers cholesterol and reduce risk of heart disease. According to the reports by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), the method is recognised as one of the treatment choices in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) in Switzerland as stated in the 'Chinese guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of primary lung cancer (2011),' an evidence-based clinical practice guideline.
Based on BMC Cancer research, the graph (see Pic 1) illustrates ginsenoside Rg3’s and gemcitabine’s (chemotherapy drug) necrosis effect on tumour. The study was done on four groups of mice with lung cancer: The ‘Control’ group was injected with normal saline (a mixture of sodium chloride in water); the ‘Gemcitabine’ group was injected with chemo medicine; the ‘Rg3’ group was injected with the Ginsenoside Rg3; while the ‘Combination’ was injected with both Ginsenoside Rg3 and chemo drug. The result demonstrates the “Combination” group has a higher percentage of dead tumour cells.
