Genopharma and Malaysian Universities jointly develops TCM courses
2009, Malaysia - To inspire the younger generations on the distinctness of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Genopharma’s co-founder jointly collaborates with the Ministry Of Higher Education in developing module syllabus and its guideline for the Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma courses in Chinese Medicine.
Nine universities were involved including Management & Science University (MSU), INTI International University & Colleges, International Medical University Malaysia (IMU), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) among others.
In a news reported by The Star, MCA presidential council member Tan Sri Dr Fong Chan Onn said at the 4th Global Bio-herbs Economic Forum that ‘It is hoped that the combination of Western and Chinese medicine will bring patient care to a higher level’.
During the forum, 40 herbal-based manufacturers, herbal suppliers and research companies participated in the signing ceremony.
