30 Apr 2012, Malaysia – The World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Society (WFAS) is an academic convention for worldwide practitioners of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine as well as physicians.

 

Co-founder of Genopharma Prof. Liao Chunhua, was the organising committee’s chairman for the 2nd World Academic Convention on Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) expresses that ‘Kuching, Sarawak is the ideal location for our convention to promote the prosperity and development of acupuncture academics in the country as well as enhance the pervasiveness of Chinese Medicine service in Malaysia’ – quoted: Sarawak Convention Bureau.

 

‘Our convention provides a platform for scholars, experts and specialists to exchange ideas and meeting in Sarawak enables our delegates to experience the convergence of tradition and modernity,’ she added.

 

Held at Pullman Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak, the convention invites world class experts and scholars to discuss about topics relating to acupuncture, orthopaedic, cancer and TCM education.

 

The former was held in 2006 at KLCC, Kuala Lumpur.
